You folks may not like this, but I don't glue the props in place. I typically built my models in "Air Superiority" configuration and with gear and flaps up. This doesn't show a lot of detail, but it does show the aircraft doing what it should do best. As such, on occasion I (usta) photograph them and they look a lot better with a prop that spins with a bit of airflow. Also, I don't see that gluing the propeller improves the look of the model and when someone does try to spin the propeller, it is less likely to break if it isn't glued.
I have seen a lot of IPMS folks pull the props out of a little polythene bushing for transprt and put it back on for display.
