Chris,
a minute ago Willi´s son called me and told he wishes Croatia for the semifinal...
What about you? Though I think it would be something special to play against Turkey as there are I guess 4 million Turks in Germany8) I´d like so see Germany playing against Croatia once again...
BTW, Willi is doing well...
... But Adler, this time you've been lucky with the referee, you should not complain: the third goal was not regular because Ballack (smartly) pushed away his guardian, but the referee did not spotted the foul
(look at the video you posted, there is a clear replay around minute 4)
I'm sure it wasn't too seroius but the German player imo should get the red card for that as he made that on purpose.
Why would an unintentional act be awarded a red card?
I think we are talking about two different events right now.
What's the reason for all this violence by the Turkish supporters ?? I really don't get it.
That bad over there huh?
I watched the game in a small cafe in Moscow overcrowded both with croatian and turkish fans. They behaved themselves actually pretty peacefully
You have not seen the news then about what happened in Wien...
I watched footage of it on the news and saw the press conference about this morning.
After the Croatians scored the first goal, the Croatian fans were attacked by Turkish fans. Once Turkey equalized the score the violance was able to be put down by the Polizei. Later in the Fan Meile the Turkish fans were attacked by Croatian fans.
I understand that emotions are high, but there is no need for violence.
In Germany we actually have a pretty big problem with violence involving Turks and Eastern Europeans. I hate to say it, but it is the truth.
Friends of mine have allready stated they will watch the game at home, instead of a viewing point, out of fear of violence if Turkey loses the game.
The German government even recognizes this problem and the Polizei will be out in full force next week. Turkey is even sending 500 Turkish Police to help the German Polizei in areas such as Berlin Kruezberg which has a large Turkish population.
the real fans would never (and never do) something like that!
those are always ****ing bastards just making use of every situation that allows them to use the anonymity
it´s the same all around the world
Sorry Holland! I was really hoping for a Germany vs. Holland Final.
You guys never have much luck though in international tournaments. Holland allways seems to do really well in the group stages and then bombs out in the Knockout stages.
