What's on The Workbench (8 Viewers)

[BombTaxi]

Thanks Aaron 8) I've still got plenty of aircraft to build, but I see many more tanks in my future

[vikingBerserker]

Nice!

[Wayne Little]

That's lookin' good BT!

[Crimea_River]

I agree.

[Airframes]

Me too.

[Trebor]

I've applied putty to one of the spitfires and sanded it down. I've finally gotten my airbrush replacement parts in the mail, but now the bloody weather turns to crap before I can start doing the DC-4

[A4K]

Nice work BT!

[hub]

Almost finished a few touch ups and add tanks, seat etc

Broke into my Eduard 1/72nd B-24J today, Brewster glue was drying!
4 engines, Quick Boost, 7 cylinders showing, 56 pushrods, 54 to go!

[Wurger]

Nice.

[Airframes]

Lots of fiddly stuff keep you busy there Bill !

[A4K]

Nice, Bill! Got the Quick Boost C-47 engines myself, they're the best around IMO.

[Wayne Little]

Good stuff Bill!

I found a quick way to add these tubes. Don't know if it's that innovative tho. Fist, if you look close there are little impressions in front of the cylinder heads. These appear to be the socket for the tubes. I drilled them a couple of mm deep with a .35 drill. Cut a short section of wire, with the tweezers inserted the wire in the hole and lifted it to align with the rocker arm cover., a drop of super glue to hold it in place. Easy peasy. Took about an hour to do the four engines.

[Crimea_River]

Great work! Now how 'bout those iginition wires!
