Whats your favorite Bond movie?

I was thinking about this as I just picked up a DVD of 'Casino Royale' with Daniel Craig and it got me thinking. The first Bond movie I ever saw was "The Man With the Golden Gun" and I loved Roger Moore - especially when he flips that AMC over the river. But I kept hearing at the time that Sean Connery was better. VHS and DVDs weren't around then so I had to wait until they came on TV but I did go to the library and started reading all the Ian Fleming novels I could grab and eventually bought the books. I have most of them now and I've seen all the movies. And until recently Sean Connery was Bond to me - my favorite being "Goldfinger". That was until the recent movies with Daniel Craig. "Casino Royale" is now my favorite Bond movie, being the closest to the novel than any of the other movies. I love it!!!!

So what movie is your favorite Bond movie?

Ya know, I can't put my finger on why, but I just can't stand Bond movies so your going to have to make a better thread!!! hahahaha. Just kidding of course.....

Might just have to tick all the boxes because I like them all in different ways. That being said I do like the new ones and enjoy Daniel Craig as Bond. My top 5 are probably, Goldeneye, Casino Royale (2006), OHMSS, Goldfinger and From Russia with Love but still I'm going to need some more time to think about it (and probably watch all of them again ;))...

I've seen em all, but its been quite a few years so they are sorta runnin together in my head. I listed the top three that stand out for me. I've read all the books, and while Daniel Craig's character seems to be the closest to Ian Fleming's Bond, I still like all the cool gadgets and toys that Q made...they always saved his hide the books, too, so why they're trying to get away from them in the new movies, I dunno.

Maybe its just me.

I don't think they are getting away from them. Remember the medical kit in the Aston Martin? I think they are making it a little more realistic and believable and slowly introducing them. I really do love the new movies. Brings me right back to why I loved the books. Just like they are doing to the Batman series. Suspend my belief but don'y go overboard! :)

I am a die hard Bond fan. I own all of the movies. I think they are all great except for those with Timothy Dalton. I never liked him as Bond.

I think I will have to go with From Russia with Love, but love all them all and would rather vote for all of them.

I have a man crush on Sean Connery, so my favorites are:

From Russia with Love
Goldfinger
Thunderball

Also really liked Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.... Daniel Craig has really impressed me with his interpetation of Bond, and if he actually stays on the roll, he could, and I say COULD pass Connery for best Bond....

have to say....don't remember much about the real early ones....but some that stand out for me The Man with the Golden Gun, Goldeneye and Casino Royale but many others were pretty enjoyable.

Wheels, you definately must see 'Casino Royale' with Craig. It will at least get ya interested in the series again.

I can only say that it rescued Bond just like 'The Dark Knight' has done for Batman.

The last Bond I saw was Die Another Day (2002).
The special effects at the theatre were so bad that I felt I was watching it on TV.
