Got the wing pinned down this morning. I'm about to make change two to the building process. The designer sez to set the dihedral, one must raise one side of the wing, keeping the other pinned down, 1/2 inch. Because the center rib in the wing is last to go in, he provides a gauge to get the rib at the correct angle. I intend change this by putting in the center rib, straight up, then raising both ends of the wing 1/4 inch. No special gauge required.

Is this rocket science or what ?

Also got the blocks cut for the wing tips.

Got the wing tips done today. Here's a series of pic's showing the glue on, shaping sanding, checking the dihedral and a close-up of a wing tip. Next move is to coat the wing with clear dope in preparation for covering. However, only going to cover the underside, prior to installation. Explain later.

Need to start coating the fuselage with clear dope also.

Worked on the tail ass'y, today. Got both the rudder and the stabilizer pinned down glued. After they dry I will coat them with clear dope to prepare them for covering. Guess the upper wing is next on the list...
