I have been planning this one for a long time and finally got started on it.

It is based on a Revell 1/48 B-17E.

Pic 1 - LARGE set of plans - Paul Matt drawings.

Pic 2 - patching up the slots. The C-75 has slots at the leading edge toward the wingtips.

Pic 3 - major surgery. The C-75 has no superchargers.

Andy, Marquette makes a model of the 307, you may save yourself some time. its a new molded fuselage, very limited run looking, and the old frog B-17E wings. The wings you did so far would be a vast improvement over the Frog wings. I have the kit about 70% done and the wings were a struggle.

I want a 1/48 one. That is the only scale I build as I like to keep things consistant.

Okay, here are the pics of my homemade Vacuform machine.

Pic 1 - putting some backing in to support the putty. The 307 only had one cooling vent on the leading edge of the wing. It also had a couple of small holes for cabin air, but those will be drilled out later.

Pics 2 3 - building up the extended horizontal stabilizers.

Looking forward to this one! Always liked the 'Stratoliner', and had a 1/48th vac-form fuselage conversion about thirty years ago, but it got lost in a house move !
