got the grey on the undersides done and painted the spinner in what i hope is the right shade of blue !
pics tomorow when the OD should be on the upper surfaces as well !!!!

any tips for masking nice clean bands on the spinner as i need to do red, aluminium, blue !

Always tricky Karl. I'd start with painting the tip colour, mask that then do the middle colour, mask that, then do the colour at the back of the spinner. It's easier to mask a cone from front to back since going the other way results in a wrinkly mask. To mask, use a very narrow slice of tape to get the edge straight then bigger pieces to hide the rest.
