As always, my thanks gents for the kind words.
It's been a slow couple of days, most of the time has been spent filing back etched detail and re-gluing when it springs loose. For all the wing fold ends, this took a couple of days, then it was onto deciding what and where to put detail within the folds. The small detail spares box came in handy here as well as the fine detail etched parts. Here is the result on the first fold.
The two halves positioned as if they were fixed in position (though not yet fixed together).
The fuselage wing end at the first fold.
The middle section wing at the first fold.
Again the complete port wing first fold (though not yet fixed) with the fuselage wing end of the stbd wing without the detail.
Maybe get to the stbd wing tomorrow afternoon.
