Lovely scheme Kevin! 8) Wayne's right, when I sprayed the grey mottling on my GB FW190 it looked like yours now, a light misting of 76 over them blended them in really well. Then the decals really finish it off.

That almost sounds like something you think is needed Wayne?I have done that in the past and only by accident did I find this method out but it did cross my mind because that 83 is so bright.Cheers Kevin

Er...not necessarily, each to his own and all that...but it certainly wouldn't hurt and it will most definitely help!:D

Some decals added still need to work on the canopy alittle more.Cheers Kevin

Wojek did the Luft number both sides of the fuse 1-9 it seems it was just the L side.Kevin

Nice work Kevin.
Did you mean did Messerschmitt only use the frame numbrs, from 1 to 9, on the port side fuselage, at the bottom, in front of each frame joint? If so, then the answer is yes. Far as I know, other manufacturers didn't number the frames, and Messerschmitt only marked the port side.

Thanks Vic.Terry that is what I thought for some reason Revell showed both sides numbered and I have never numbered both sides.Go figure though the decal sheet only had enough decals to do like 1 1/2 planes so I ordered some more from PCM in 1/48 and 1/32.I am going to convert my G-4 to a G-6 and do it as an Italian bird for the LSP group build.

Thks VB,Heinz,Jan and Wayne appreciate that.Look do you think all the trim tabs would of been red as usual?I got to go back and retouch that one side the fuse under the canopy had a brain fart there.Cheers Kevin

The trim tabs probably would have been red, as I'm guessing the paintwork was factory finish, apart from the additional/overpainted markings.
