Ok, I have pictures now. I ended up spending 2 1/2 hrs at the sports bar, new waitress....:). I have photos. I just have to enlarge and scan them.

DBII,

Here we go again. After work last night, I went to Walmart to scan the photos. A cold front arrived along with a thunder storm and heavy rains. The power went out and the 20 minute drive home took an hour. I spent the rest of the night sanding putty. I will try again tonight. There is an airshow Saturday so I hope to get the photos posted Sunday afternoon.

Sure, here are my drawing.

#1. OOB
#2 I painted the inside with interior green, it was all I had on hand.
#3 After reading all of the P-40 build notes, I went back and did some filling. You cannot see it but after painting I dry brushed the interior with black and siler on the tubing.
#4. Next I made patterns and cut plastic to cover the seam in the cargo area. This photo shows the new parts befor painting.

#6 7 This is the best pictures I can get of the flight deck.
#8 Wings and tail booms. There was a little gap but a little putty solved the problem.
#9 I painted a little prior to installing teh windows. I have also painted my plastic inserts to cover
the seams in the cargo bay.
#10 I paintd over the filler and glued in the windows.

Thanks guys. It is frustrating not having a computer or digital camera but I am having fun. The glider build is much better than the B-17. I can get rid of evil seams now.

I am finishing the bird up guys. The only thing remaining is to paint 1/4 of the right wing, add the cargo door and finaly decals. I have about 9 pictures in the camera. I hope to post over the weekend. I am not happy with how the paint ended up. One color was a little thick and I should have tried to thin it.I accept it as part of the learning curve. The Gotha is gunship grey and gull grey over light ghost grey. I like the colors. I need more practice at painting. Now I just need a Ju-52 to tow the thing
