Thanks yet again chaps! Another day or so, and I should have the decals on, and some of the other 'bits' in place. Still undecided about the Schrage Musik cannons, but I think I'll remove them. Darn, they were a bit of a sod to fit in the first place!
These first stages were completed much quicker than I thought, but I know the rest will take some time, especially the SN2 antennas, which will need modifying to the angled type.
More pics soon!

After almost three hours work, I managed to get some decals in place!
Like the decals for Chris's '410, these 'Pro Modeller' decals were bl**dy terrible! Having been pre-warned by Chris's experiences, and heeding Wayne's advice, I sprayed the decal sheet with gloss varnish first. I still had problems though, and so far I've only used the crosses from the kit, as I didn't have suitable crosses in my decal files. These crinkled, curled, wouldn't slide without doing both, and two started to separate. I managed to save them, just, but the one on the port fuselage side is missing a tiny piece from the bottom right corner, which will need to be painted in. The worst thing though, because they wouldn't slide without trying to disintegrate, I couldn't get the fuselage crosses in the right place, consequently, they're slightly further forward than they should be, meaning the codes are also out of place. This is due to the aforementioned port-side cross misbehaving, meaning I had to line-up the starboard one in the same relative position. Hopefully, it's not too noticeable!
The code letters and swastikas I took from old Microscale sheets, and they behaved perfectly, even though they must be at least 20 years old. I'm just hoping that the stencils, wing-walk lines etc will go on without too much trouble. If not, then I think I have some of the major ones, such as fuel triangles etc, in the files, and also some small numerals to make the Werke Nr. The rest I may have to paint!
So, once this nightmare is over, it'll be time for another gloss coat, followed by the clear semi-matt, then on with the construction.
The pics tell the story, and show the errors!

Thanks very much indeed for the encouragement. I admit I was ever so slightly p*ssed off with those kit decals! If anyone has a 'Pro Modeller' kit, I'd suggest binning the decals. Apart from the user problems, they were badly out of register and, apart from the crosses, most are unusable anyway. I've heard similar reports about other decals in the series.
If I can pluck-up the enthusiasm, I might get some more decalling done tonight, given I can find what I need in the spare decals files. The kit's small decals seem to behave, but their print quality is very poor, so I'll be hand-painting some things I think.
More pics later, with luck!
