Still looks good Dan....as Terry says it will change a little...if you can replicate what you have done with the blue/white mix after the flat coat.....that will do it.

Thanks Wayne, I appreciate it....

Here are the pics, prior to the 2nd to last gloss coat, prior to decals.... I should wait to re-do panel lines with pencil/pastel till AFTER the gloss correct????

**** Dan, that's bad. Lemme look around.

Try Squadron? If it was 1/48th I'd be able to bail you as I have a couple sitting around.

On a second look, it's exactly where you'd paint, so if you can glue it, I think you'll be ok. Testors makes glass glue, so try that? I don't know what else to tell you. It obviously won't be strong, but it'll work.

Cory, I think that your offer will be the best solution if you have a few of them .Also it cam be possible to get a contact with the model manufacturer and try to ask for help.
On the other hand, there is always possibility of making it yourself.

Dan I have this kit in the stash not building anytime soon, you have mine and try something with Trump down the road for a replacement.I am off Tuesday if you want to hook up.Cheers Kevin

What about Claudette?was that quick?

Sorry I'm late to the party!! Dan, that is fantastic looking!

1. The canopy should be able to fix up nice. There is Clear glue for canopies and such by Testors that will do good to glue it back. I would aslo suggest using that tape that you have masked with, to make a brace where the crack is - it'll appear as a brace when painted and give support to the joint.

2. I don't know if it helps at this point but if you check my dauntless thread, I mafe a pastel wash of some colors that came out great. Of course I practiced on a Wildcat I haven't finished in the same blue color. But if it will help, that technique worked real well for me.

Looks awesome!!!
