chucked a bit of RLM 65 on the starboard wing to check the blending in of the resin wing tip...friggin' perfect!! no visible marks at all!:D

On the down side spotted a few other spots that need a bit more attention....:(

Wayne, I am gobbbsmakkkkt. I have just come onto this post, and have looked at all 37 pages. I recall the post about the "super detailed P-51" which was built by Rodney Williams. I posted that I had been part of his weekly building club in California, for just a short time. But knowing him, and how enthused about all levels of building, I am sure he would pour over what you are doing with GREAT enthusiasm. You, and so many others here set a standard to strive for. Cannot wait to see the next step. cheers, Bill

Pics of the wings attached! This is one big mother...

Guttorm, the outer 'windows' on the engines..... it appears that some are painted over and some aren't?

Seems it's a 50/50 call, toss a coin!? as there are no pics of the forward area of my subject!

Comments?

Sweet work Wayne. Impressive model.

I'd love to build that one some day but wouldn't know what to do with it when I was done. Still sharing the house with a wife and teens so space is an issue.
