Jan I've found that the Mithril Silver brushes and sprays pretty good for the things I have tried it on so far....only test sprayed the other 2 colours at this stage.

finally a update..been looking for that..and that Mg looks awsome.. "BUT"..here i go again..hehe
just cant sit and see such a great model miss any detail.. the rear part of the Mg 15 is in dark brown bakelite or wood..also the handle.. that would make it look even better..and i love the small details you made on it

Great job Wayne. I thought the MG 15 had a metal receiver too, until Mr.G. told me otherwise awhile ago. Of course, the one I had access to was for infantry use, with a butt stock, so there was no need to hold the receiver, whereas the aircraft mounted gun was steadied by placing the left hand on top of and across the receiver - which gets hot! Hence the wooden or bakelite 'sleeve' over the receiver tube.
