Well, most of us are old and dormant so.....
Yep...I usually turn up later in the game😎...I have been searching for RNZAF F4U1a Corsair NZ5517 for close to 45 years...know the story backwards and pretty sure I know where it went and what happened to it...funny how people make the mistake of following unspecified info then build on that to develope 'facts' around a likely location...btw, the 'crash' site is within 6 km of a town...and yes...the aircraft is in one piece...

...the pilot force landed due to (perceived) fuel starvation and confused the oil on the windscreen with an engine problem...a compounding error...

...and here it is lying in the bush with trees grown up around it...
