Greetings, gents:

Well, here she is in all her warpaint, the Focke-Wulf Fw-190 A8 of JG 6, late autumn, early winter of 1944. I did correct the direction the FuG antenna whip was pointing. All you gents that pointed out my error were correct on this point. The clincher was looking it up in the Monogram color reference book. I said to myslef: "Yep, they're right, and I'm wrong. Me bad."

Hope you like the model. As I mentioned before, thanks to everyone who followed this thread and offered encouragement and pointed out my errors...... thankfully, fixable. Enjoy the pics!

Happy modeling to all!

Pete L.

Undoubtedlt the Revell Fw190A-8 kit is one of the best 1/72 scale kits of the machine. Even , made OOB looks great.

Well done Pete. :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

To answer your question, Jan, I just started in on the 1/72 scale P-38 Lightning. It's a fighter based at Dobodura, New Guinea, called "Beautiful Lass", and the nose art is just that.... beautiful. Decals are from Tally-Ho. Stay tuned for first installment pics.:D
