Nice work. Is 'Champ' a similar product to Micro Sol? I only use the latter, as I have a feeling that the difference between 'Sol' and 'Set' is minimal. Seems to work fine both for positioning and settling into panel lines etc.

Thanks, guys, for all the kind words and encouragement. Now the Butcher Bird sits on her landing gear. They were a bit fiddly, but they're on, along with other little bits, like the FuG antenna, radio direction finder loop, and the pilot's step. Here are some pics. Enjoy!

More.... All I have left to do now is to give the model a Dullcoat, take off the canopy masks, and install the antenna wires.

Turned out pretty nice Pete. Just one small thing I noticed is the whip end of the antenna under the wing should point backwards not forwards. Otherwise looks good man!

Don't mean to start an argument, but all my resources (and they are reliable) show that the FuG antenna whip points forward, so I'm going to leave it as is. In the meantime, getting close to the finish line on this bird. Thanks again for all the encouraging comments and pointers.

Happy modeling,

Pete L.
