Neat stuff, Wojtek. One of the things I love about this forum is the many different countries represented and being able to see photos of other places. It has helped make the world smaller.

I agree with Eric too, it's great to be able to see the world through this forum. I'm thinking of starting a thread along the lines of 'My Place', when I can get some pics of the local area, where people can show where they live, and the surrounding area. I'll have to wait until about 13.30 - 13.55 hrs on April 21st though - that's when the cloud lifts and the sun comes out for 25 minutes!

Ah, of course my friend! The TDI gives better fuel economy, and a bigger baggage space - I forgot!
Here you go Jim - right outside my front door, on the opposite side of the road.
The advertising hoarding is a dummy, erected for shooting a TV commercial in my street, set in the 1950s, and so is the red mail 'pillar box'.
The coal truck and car are real, and coincidentally, owned by a guy 200 miles north of here, who was my neighbour, over 40 years ago!!
And now, back to the original thread .....
