norway will give you some water in your mouth..hehe

and by the way.. since someone mentione a maddrass with horsehair..did you know that the Ju 88 A5 we salvaged in 2000 used human hair as stuffing in the seatcushions.. a very suprising discovery :)

Been fortunate enough to go to Scandinavia many, many times with my work... and I won't disagree with you there.

And on a darker note... re the cushions stuffed with human hair... possibly not that surprising, given what was eventually found out about certain happenings in the Reich... I prefer to think that the aircrew were honest guys working in what they believed was the service of their country, and had no idea about this...

Oh dear, oh dear! You lucky person Mr. G! Not only do you have a real JU88 and He111 to play with, you have real women there too! I'm definitely living in the wrong place! About time I went back to Norway, Denmark or the Czech Republic I think - it's been too long!!

Forgot these guys

BTW, I dated a Norwegian/Polish girl. Her dad fled Poland just before WWII and her mom live in Norway during the occupation. They met after the war and moved to Canada, then Michigan.

She was a real sweetheart and a looker to boot.

Broke my heart, though......

Some nice stuff there Tom. The Airfix Hurricane was a good kit, quite 'advanced' when first released, thirty years ago. Coincidentally, I've just ordered one, as a 'budget' edition to my 56 Squadron build line-up, and I seem to remember it goes together well, and looks the part. Only slight drawback is the one-piece canopy.

Also one-piece unfortunately, but got a Falcon vac-form canopy for that Hurri going spare if anyone needs it...

Great stash too, Tom!
