My "Hangar" is a third bedroom, my wife has this penchant for "everything in it's place"
So I display the results of SWMBO's consultation sessions........
1&2 Take over closet for flotsome and jetsome
3,4&5 Inspirational pictures tastefully displayed.
6. New, improved work bench, no matter the cost!!!!!!
Yes, I do have a rum and Coke now and again!!!!!
BTW, my paint stuff is in the garage!
7. She does serve me mu meals in the Hangar now and then!!!!

I look with envy on those fortunate enough to have a dedicated space to do their work. 
Unfortunately I am stuck with using the dining room table but I can show the storage solution I have. Not quite a shot of a workbench, but the closest I have. At least with this unit packing and unpacking my gear is less of a pain. It doesn't quite fit all the gear I have managed to build up, but its good for the stuff I regularly use. Having a unit on wheels is pretty handy for the times I need to hide my stuff away - just wheel it into the laundry out of site!

Impressive little space. I worked at the kitchen table for about three years until the downstairs was suitable enough
