You don't have a nice 1/48th P-40N in there you can't get to do you???? GB20, the only Aboriginal Australian pilot of WWII is my intended project!

No Bill sure don't just looked got AMT P40K conversion kit,P40B Trump and the Hobbycraft P40 F/L Checkertails and none of those types have that greenhouse canopy.Sorry is GB20 an Aussie or P40 build?

Just an update on my disease. The Airfix 1/24 Spitty is really a 1/24 Trump MK5 Tropical. Had to throw the boxes out to fit in my luggage. Next time I will just fold them up. What the hell was I thinking

What is the scale of the hat that can be seen in the last picture?

BTW.. a nice collection there.

I think the hat is 12 scale!
There's two problems to working in larger scales - where to store the unmade kits, and where to put the finished models!
I'd like to have a complete collection in 1/32nd scale, although some types are not available, but it's just totally impractical. Therefore, I have the main lot in 1/48th scale, and a few 'specials' in 1.32nd scale, displayed separately.

Sure would - but you'd need an exceedingly large room in which to display them, alongside the rest of 1/32nd scale collection. I'd like the 1/32nd scale Mitchell and Lancaster, but with wing spans of over 25 inches and 38 inches respectively, it's just not practical. And hanging them from the ceiling is an insult to the kit, the size of the model, and the work that goes into them.

Due to incoming grandchild, my stash and I have been banished to my unfinished basement. For me Charles, if I see something that is 30 to 40% off retail and has free shipping I buy it(91+6 in various states of build if you're counting).EDIT:Just noticed I have 4 Hobbycraft nightmares left.

Hope it's dry under those stairs George. I had a leak over one of my storage shelves a few years back and lost the decals for several models. After that I put all the decals in zip-lock bags, the instructions too if they will fit, that way worse case moisture and dampness will damage the box at most.

I've come up with a way to lighten some of the Stashes here! Donate to the HARS Museum model display build I have going!!!! Any of these un-built! PM me if you got any. I'm a sly one eh?
