well......maybe I should have put a comma in there somewhere....:) saw her again today....couldn't possible replace the little darling....
That's like the one where the kids say "We'll have to call back as we are eating Granma....."

Won't be long before you know it and she will be a mobile crumb snatcher......

Remember taping spare change to the top of the needle cartridge to prevent skipping on very old LP's? My first LP was Paranoid by Black Sabbath. Had it for years.....more scratch the music but I could never part with it.
Back when I was in collage I bought an old (even then!) Duel turn table at a pawn shop cheep. It didn't have needle cartridge so I picked one up somewhere but the original one must have been heaver because I couldn't get the needle to sit down on the record. That is until I double stick taped a couple of pennies to the top of it. Worked fine then. Still have it in a box somewhere up in the attic.

Learning that the NMUSAF is going to restore "The Swoose" - and in its later (famous) version. Shows imagination and either way it's awesome news.
I saw her during a "behind the scenes" tour back in 2012 and this is what she looked like then. Don't know if any work has been done since then.

Fagen Fighters Air museum in Western Minnesota announced earlier this year that they purchased a new fighter. They have been hush hush on what is was until today. It's a P-47! Was supposed to be delivered today, but had mechanical problem. I see a road trip in the near future.
Excited for this! I was touring their museum last December, and they mentioned they had an aircraft coming this spring. They also took ownership of a TBM project as well.
