Thanks John and Geo (sounds like another Circus act!)
Photos will certainly be taken !
Andy is there today, with Jeff, and is about to post some pics in the Duxford BoB thread.

Terry,

Nice stuff! She`s really coming together now. Not a fan of enamel paints but to each his own. Glad to see you are back in the saddle and building again. Hope all goes well with your health.

Cheers,
Dave.

Thanks guys. Just back from a really fantastic long weekend with Andy, Jeff, his friend Jason, and Karl at the BoB show at Duxford (pics will be posted in the BoB thread when they're sorted), so I hope to get some more done on the model some time this week.

Thanks Wayne. Still sorting the pics from Duxford, as they downloaded out of order - what a pain !
But I hope to get back to the model very soon, and will probably get a bit done later tonight, between photo-editing sessions.

A little more progress to show.

PICS 1 to 3. The metal-etched ice guard from 'Brengun' has been fitted to the front of the carb intake, the front frame added, and the first coat of paint applied.
PICS 4 and 5. The wing walk-way lines have been masked and painted. A little re-touching is needed here and there.
PICS 6 and 7. The rudder actuator has been fitted and painted, with the actuator rod itself in the interior Grey-Green colour.

I'll probably not get anymore done now until sometime over the weekend, as I'll be in hospital all day Friday, for the second infusion of the new meds. If it's anything like the first course, I'll probably sleep most of Saturday !

Thanks chaps. You can thank Hasegawa for the rudder actuator - it's a kit part !
As I couldn't continue with the new meds today, due to having to wait until antibiotics clear an infected insect bite on my ankle, I should be able to get some more done later today or tomorrow, with the next steps being clean-up of the carb intake area, some re-touching, and then a gloss clear coat on the underside, ready for the first of the decals.
More soon ................
