Dan, your work is excellent. The guns look awesome.

I know this is another Rudel crate but here's one done up in winter camo. I've always likes winter camo schemes. The source is Wingspallette ( WINGS PALETTE - Junkers Ju.87 Stuka - Germany (Nazi)) where there are several others. If you use any of these from Wingspallette though, do some more research to verify the schemes as many aren't accurate.

Fw Josef Blümel, 5/SG-151, 10(Pz.)/SG-3 Ju 87G-2 Wk. Nr. 494231 (lost KIA).

KIA 19 September, 1944 on his second mission of the day, after destroying his 60th tank. After his G-2 was hit by machine gun fire, he crashed behind enemy lines near Kekava, 18 km south of Riga, S.U.. He and R/O Ogefr. Hermann Schwärzel were killed by Soviets, shot through the neck. Their bodies were found 3 days later by a search party by Stfkpt. Kuffner. Approximately 150 missions.

Got to spraying some RLM65 on the underside, elevators and the landing gear today... First coat went on nice, so no real bad spots to worry about other than a leading edge seam and some small touchups....

Also got the radiator flaps done and ready to be glued in place...

One thing tho, I cant find a reference shot of what they normally looked like when open... All Ive got is some pics from a static display that even says the flap is open alot further than normally operated....

Any help on this guys, Ive searched and searched....

Thanks Vic, but I believe both of those profiles are G-2's, as the wingtips suggest it....

Jan, if indeed the codes are right, we have his profile from Vic up above.... Now I just gotta figure out how to get/make decals for it.... I dont have the ability to make my own....

Dammit I hate this limiting constraints........

Great work tho guys!!!!!!!!! Jan, I couldnt find the pic of Fw Josef Blümel in that thread u linked up....
