Thanks very much guys. The engine bits are now painted, and the collector ring is attached, just got to add the ring support rods and the carb intake, then sit back and plan the next stage. I'll try to get some pics of the engine later - if I can stay awake!

Thanks Daniel. The additions have been painted, the collector support rods made and added, and the carb air intake fitted.
Here's the pics. More tomorrow, with a bit of luck!

I have been waiting for some plumbing before commenting Terry and I have too say it looks quite excellant.Terry if you ever need to bend some of that thin sprue a light bulb works good and not one of those new green types either.Cheers Kevin

Thanks very much indeed guys. glad you like it!
Vic, the paint for the exhausts was a mix of Humbrol matt enamels. Rirst coat, Red and Dark Earth mixed to give a rusty red colour. Thin second coat 'damp brushed' of the same with black added, then again with white and yellow added. Finaly, 'spots' added mixed from red, yellow and white, to give a pale pinkish orange, representing the burnt, flaking look normally seen on this type of pipe.
Kevin, yes, that's what I use for compound curves. Didn't need it here thiough, as the only bends were for the fuel inlet pipes, and they are at an angle on the real thing, hence the short, sharp bend into each cylinder.
