Thanks very much indeed chaps. The odd hour here and there has been spent doing small bits of work toward finishing this model. The pics below show addition of exhaust stubs and airbrushed exhaust stains, chipping of the white leading edges to reveal the camo colours underneath, more oil stains, and addition of the kit center bomb/drop tank rack. The latter were made from the kit parts with the turnbuckles added added using aluminum tape. Also, the circular alignment pads were cut off and new ones made to face downwards in keeping with the fact that these will be modeled with no tank or rack in position.

Yet to be completed are the brake lines, addition of landing gear doors, antenna wires (need to look at Bill's thread for discussion on this again), tail wheel, and the new resin wheels that Terry sent. Thanks again everyone.

Thanks guys. I'm also liking how it's turning out. A bit of paint chipping on the nose as seen on detail pics of the real aircraft is also coming.
