VMF-211 for your wildcat sounds cool, but I am really wanting to see how you do the F2B. That's a bunch o'wires an' stuff!!!
If you need any, drop me a line and I'll send you some from the desk!

Thanks Terry..... but there is PE in there. I just like Building stuff. Probably my mechanical drafting and design background. It's just in me to add to and change everything.

Yep Vic, Wurger worked his magic and them icons is back.

Thanks for lookin in and your comments Jerry.

It's like GB33 Pauly..... I have no idea why I have already bought the kit!!!!

Thanks Geo.... I try, gettin better.

So now I am just about finished with the stuff for the cockpit, instrument panel Is done, just not installed yet, but will install soon to protect the cyclic and collective controls. Just have to add the cable to the sonar unit and add seat belts to the crew seats. Main rotor head, blades are in a dust free box. Undercarriage and tail wheel are ready to go in.

Bit of a bother with the struts for the gear pontoons, they are just not fitting well. Had a conversation with The man Vic and he had the same trouble. The tube supports for the rescue winch posses the same problems, too short, too long, it has it all. So I have to address these next.

Found a photo of a gunners restraint belt for the winch operator, so he doesn't fall all the way to the ground. You would adjust it so you just fall out the door about a foot. Theoretically you could drag yourself back in without too much trouble. Yeh, right. Can't seem to find any pictures of hand holds at the door sides inside, I know they were there, and the gunners belt ring.

I sailor on.

Ah the harnesses are PE....... no fault of mine.

Moving on to dry fitting.... The cockpit is all together now. Back wall behind pilots is attached. All the other bits are just sitting in place, just anxious to see if it looks like a real heliokapeter.... still looking for interior hand hold bars. Seems the HH-60H I did had them all over the place, each side of all the openings. I guess too many crew fell out of the 3A's so they figured they better put them in the new birds.

I sailor on.
