Yes Paul, I really do....... just don't want to admit it.
So I finished the extinguishers, added a conduit down the side of the bulkhead and painted the rotor blade assy.
Next to detail the seats. Paint and such. Gonna make a little pouch that is attached to the bulkhead above the co-pilot seat, I'll use air dry soft clay. The stuff kids use at school.
Seems this build is going a little easier than the HH-60H. Or I may just be a little more comfy scratch building..........

I've gone too far.
Annie teaches second grade, they have this putty they play with to make stuff for themselves and family. Non toxic, feels like marshmallow. Air dries and can be rolled into a ball, even rolled out like pastry. Got the bright idea to use it for the sound proofing pad next to the sonar operator. Rolled it out on a textured board, pressed it onto the side and let it set-up during the day. The back won't dry without air so I had to take it off and let the backside dry. It took my spray can paint fine. I made a little pouch that is attached to the bulkhead behind the pilots head, painted it, and it took the glue to attach it. Did the same for the zippered curtain at the rear bulkhead. I think I'm having too much fun.
I think I'll use it to make the wing tips on my 1/32nd Merlin's Magic then make a mold of each side. Then cast them in resin. On the smaller MM I used a block of styrene and it was a bit of a bother. But made a mold of each tip.

Not really, it's kinda krumbely. The flats I rolled out will krumble if I tried to flex it.

Can't confirm, or deny it smells or Tastes like marshmallow. Don't do sniffing, didn't bother tasting......
But I can confirm it is great stuff. When I did the back curtain I rolled it flat then used the point of a pin the indent for the zipper line. Years ago I attended group modeling sessions with a bloke who did professional modeling of warbirds. He was a scratch building guru. I guess a bit of the fun of it rubbed off.
