Agreed with all above. One question, why the brass tubing?

Tubing+carpenters glue=cone shape on the wings

[mikewint]

Thanks Kevin but I'm slow, "cone-shape" on the wings? You don't mean the vertical struts do you?

[javlin]

The area around the cables coming off the wings have little mounds/cones is what I was trying to reporduce.

[Crimea_River]

Fine job Kevin.

[Vic Balshaw]

Smart work Kevin, certainly doing justice to this game old bird.

[Wayne Little]

Very cool Kevin!

[Wildcat]

Your rigging looks excellent Kev, great work mate.

[javlin]

I now have the decals applied. The engine and propeller are finished but a flaw exist the propeller sticks out too far.I believe this occurs maybe because the engine nacelle is to long out back? The best I could do at this stage was to shave/sand off part of the crankcase on the engine to get the propeller furthur back and I probably got .050"+ shaved off,it helped some.

[Wildcat]

Looking good!

[Wurger]

Nicely done.

[vikingBerserker]

That rigging looks great, well done!

[Vic Balshaw]

Well done mate, she is certainly looking the part.

[Wayne Little]

kevin, a great job on that rigging work, overall it's looking real nice mate!

[Crimea_River]

I agree. I don't know how I'd do with rigging but if I could get it to that quality, I'd be happy.

[Lucky13]

Looking sweet Kevin!

That's the deal with this guitar wire Andy it makes if much simpler with a little planning it was much easier than the thread approach.

[Crimea_River]

Good to know.

[Gnomey]

Lovely work so far!
