Not sure what it cost new but I picked it for $12 including shipping, and it's well worth that.

I did some work on the wheel wells. First picture shows how shallow they were and one I had already cut out. The next pic shows the new, deeper roofs to the wheel wells. I also assembled the fuselage and wings.

Thanks guys. Quite a few things taken care of in the last few days.

Picture 12) The landing gear fairing was not molded on the top of the wing as seen in the first pic so I fixed it my adding layers of thick Ca and sanding to shape as seen on the second pic.
Picture 23) The kit gun sight was hopeless so I made up a new N3C gun sight from the tapered end of a wooden toothpick and a thin bit of clear plastic.
Picture 5) In the picture posted earlier by peter you can see that "Island Dream" had two different tires one with checkerboard tread and one with diamond tread. Here I tried to replicate the tread on the kit supplied wheels.
Picture 6) The assembled auxiliary fuel tank.
Picture 7) The beginnings of the scratch built seat and armor plate.

I put the wings on and started work on the seat and armor plate. The armor is almost done but I still need to file down the edges of the seat.
