However, one of my landing gear snapped off, so now the glue is drying on it, pics will be comin tomorrow after it dries...
I bet the walls heard some words on that one .She is really looking good Dan I do think maybe to tone down panel lines a little. For some reason on the white it looks pretty good but the red it looks to strong can't explain it Cheers Kevin
I think the brightness with the sun is kinda makin them out to be slightly heavier than in reality... I just went out and looked at it in the garage to compare and they dont look as thick as they do in the pics above..
Thanks for the comments guys, will be posting pics this afternoon...
I agree with all, a fantastic job there Dan. Can't wait to see the finished model, it really is going to look superb. Hope the gear leg sets OK; that has been a bit of a problem with me lately - happened on 3 models!
Ahhh, home from work.... Ill tell ya, I bust my ass all day long, get home and peek in the garage, and this feeling of pride comes over me... It really looks good...
Thanks for the great comments gents, its all very appreciated...
The panel line work does appear a tad heavy, BUT considering this is your real first effort at doin' the 'extra' work it is pretty bl**dy good man...well done.
Now you know why I don't attach things that stick out until the final stages...I get real annoyed when I break things off!!
Its a work in progress, so comments/pointers/corrections are needed... I need to know about the final coat... I think I need to do a light gloss, then tone down the gloss with a final light matte/flat.... Another coat of matte and I think it'll be too flat... Comments???
