Thanks Wayne, useful to know. The first kit will be for the belly-landed kite, so I'll not be using the resin exhausts etc. But the seciond kit will be for me, on it's legs, so yes, all and any hints on reiforcing are welcome.
Nice pic Mr.G.

Thanks Guys!:D

Port Resin wingtip...prepared for attachment after both surfaces sanded flat and matched up....decided that a straight butt joint would not do the job...one knock and the wigtip could be a problem...would never get it back and right if it broke off after the fact so reinforced tongue in groove to do the job!!

some more progress at the other end....there are 'dobs' of super glue re-inforcing the tail wheel assembly too on the top sides of each attachment point so they are not visible from the bottom but provide that extra strength!

Dry fitted the fuselage to check fit....

Nice! Keep em coming!

Wayne, what will you use to glue the long seams on the fuselage? I've been using "Pro-weld" which is brushed on over the dry-fitted seam and seeps in to make the bond. Nice and fast but I'm not sure of the strength.

Hi guys,

This is a groupbuild right? why do i see only wayne's great work:shock:.... nobody else doing a ju88a-5
Piet.

It's a M.T.O. Group Build, not just for JU88's.
Nice work so far Wayne. Should be starting on mine for the Czech Museum very soon.

Oke.... my mistake:oops:
Piet.
