Thanks Gutt. Probably the same stuff I use but a different brand. I like that you can work on a small section at a time. It dries so fast you can do the ruder first, hold it for a bit and move up the fuselage, focusing on aligning samll areas as you go.

Sorry to highjack the thread!

I use Tamiya 'Extra Thin' too, it's bl**dy good stuff!!:D

Horizontal and Vertical stabilizers done and ready to go.....dry fitted them...fit nice and snug!:D

I have to say it again Wayne this has to be Revell's best piece of work yet, such clean lines makes you look that much better ;) .Cheers Kevin

It sure does. Wayne's wearing me out - everytime I see a new part done, I go upstairs, open the JU88 box, and have a look at the un-assembeled parts! I just gotta start mine soon!
Do we need an over run for the end date of the GB Wayne? I really want to see the finished model in the line-up.

i love this kit..and its really a superb kit in all ways.. my all time favorite ( wonder why ? hehe )

and great work there pal. keep it up ( and that glue is the best ever ) :) :) :)
and i would like to see that kit on the endline in the group build.. :)

I think an extension would help me that's for sure...still got a fair bit to do but taking every opportunity to get something done...4 hours today...working on the tail wheel bay, adding the wing extension to the starboard wing, cutting and preparing the stbd, aileron, assembled the stbd.engine.....

After some serious thought it is damn near impossible to get in the tail wheel bay, with the tail wheel assembly in the way to fill and sand the internal seam line.....so I added some plastic card sections inside the bay to hide it.

Once I fitted the two fuselage halves together the card sat just right!...worked out friggin' perfect!:D

Nice work Wayne. As it looks like there are a few who are still in the early to mid stages, I reckon another extension might well be needed. I'll give it another week, then post a notice if needed.
