Mmmm...interesting colour...sort of looks like a gold tinted aluminium colour...bit odd I must say!

Noticed the same on a Bf 109G prop boss...painted a Revell G-10 I was building at the time accordingly, mixing a thin wash of Humbrol 16 Gold with their polished Alumiium colour (27003?)

Great work on the '88 too!

Thanks for the offer Daniel, friggin frustrating that every page is taking an eternity to load....

busy day at work today, didn't get much done, other than a bit of rescribing and some sanding...

Some tail pics...:D

Nice Wayne. Hope your internet behaves from now on.

Could help noticing but did your tail wheel break off or is it separate? Also, what are the small pipes on the underside between the fuslegae and rudder?

Ah Ha! I thought they might be fuel dumps, then decided they weren't, as they look rather large, and also thought they'd be on the wings somewhere. Learn something new everyday! About time I started on mine soon I think, it's doing my head in seeing Wayne's come together so nicely!

Tail wheel is separate as well as its cover.

Boy I know that feeling. My son was on MY computer for hours yesterday. When he got off at 10pm, I immediately got on and noticed the mouse was soaked and standing in a puddle of water on the mouse pad. I thought he spilled a drink but it turned out to be the sweat that he pumped out. And, no, he wasn't on girly sites!
