Thanks guys. I know you guys have heard me talk about "Kamikaze Kamera". Beyond breakinng the film fear, it also serves the purpose of knowing your gear better. Here is one of the blind shots I took over the weekend. I pointed the camera outside the window, held it against the fuselage pointing straight back. I did this because the other Cub was in trail. There was no way I could get twisted enough to get the shot without unbuckling, which is definitely not safe.

You guys are too kind. I do still take some shots that aren't so good or are complete crap. I just don't post them. The key is to up the ratio of good/bad shots so you get more and more good ones. When I get bad ones, and I still do, I study it and learn what I did wrong. It's a process of constant improvement.

Thanks guys. I should be doing more flying with these guys in the near future. The neat thing about these is that there are a number of memories for some of these guys. The sea gray cub pilot was flying formation for the very first time. The lead PT-22 pilot was getting his flight lead certification, and this was his flight for it. The guy flying the Cessna 172 was doing his check ride for his formation wingman patch. It's an honor for me to be able to catch these memories.
