Bill, -SET seems to be just vinegar which breaks down the Glucose (sticky) and dextrose corn-sugar residue (lubricity) layers making the decal (ink between two layers of lacquer) settle closer to the models surface. -SOL is in effect a lacquer solvent thining the layers of lacquer. Being from the Dark Ages like me, do you recall home-made decals? Hairspray (shellac) layer, draw in ink, Hairspray layer all on gummed paper. Looked pretty bad, hence the use of stencils
Andy, the bubbles are teeneytinency things barely visible looking straight on and somewhat milky appearing looking at an angle. You can almost see the decal edge sticking up. Multiple applications of -SOL have make it less-visible and overpainting with Future/Flat Clear should finally do the trick (he said hopefully)

Bill, you are welcome sir, tried once or twice many, many year ago and looked like crepe. It was easier to do stencils.
Well, like Vic I am 95% ready to pull the plug on this puppy. Finally got my Swas on the tail and my Polish 20mm cannons in place, painted, and blast streaked. Going to do the 50/50 overcoat and we'll see what I have tomorrow.
Gentlemen comments, suggestions, please be critical

Lookin' good Mr.Wint. I've always been meaning to try vinegar on some decals, try one first with Set to see if the decal conforms and then try vinegar on a decal from the same sheet to see if the reactions the same.
