Nice work Jamie. Seeing that small entrance hatch has reminded me how small it really is - I can still remember the pain when I forgot to duck when climbing out!! Must have been a real sod if one had to bail out of it - and miss the wing!

Be much more than just a 'sod' if you jumped out too far - the edge of the door wasn't too far from the prop! :!:

Great work so far Jamie! A question too...is that green a typical colour for the ammo drums? I would have imagined straight aluminium, or RAF Blue-grey or something?

Evan

Evan, I used to think the door was close to the prop too, until a Mossie pilot told me it's way behind it. I checked it out on the now lost BAe Mossie, and he's right, it's a few feet to the rear. Far as I know, the ammo tanks for the Brownings were either a pale blue grey, or light grey.

sorry its been so long been a busy man but progress is being made lots in fact .i will adress the ammo boxes this afternoon and thanks for the heads up i just followed tamiyas instructions on that .well i have stuck on wings and engine thingys and up to naow i have not had to reach for the putty at all which i am very happy with this kit goes together like a dream really its my first tamiya and definetly wont be my last
