and still more progress painted the white first for the stripes this is slightly later than june so top stripes have been removed masked off the white and gave it an all over grey coat a few bits where the grey has seeped under the tape but easy fixed this afternoon i will be getting the ammo boxes repainted and hopefully getting the green done then its on to the incredibly complicated undercarriage

Evan, I used to think the door was close to the prop too, until a Mossie pilot told me it's way behind it. I checked it out on the now lost BAe Mossie, and he's right, it's a few feet to the rear. Far as I know, the ammo tanks for the Brownings were either a pale blue grey, or light grey.

Ah Ha! That stencil is for ground use, in case the engines are running, or the props winding down. For bailing out, the notice couldn't be read - pulll the handle, door is gone away in the slistream, no stencil!!

sorry i been so long but heres more changed the ammo box colours finished the stripes and added the green topcolour i have also done some very light work to the few pannel lines and clearcoated it but the camera is playing up going to get some decals on and get some more pics over the weekend
