Maybe you can convince Revell into sending you another sheet? You can direct them to this site to look at the decals they're providing. If they're interested in improving the quality of thier offerings then they should respond.

As for the white M on the white theater band, my instinct, however unreliable, would have expected a black border around the M or a box out of the theater band on the real bird. Hope someone can dig up some references. Maybe inside that Signal magazine that Piet posted?

Superb job again Wayne! The thin decals really p*ss me off - it's a great idea to have them thin so that they'll settle well, but not at the expense of colour density, and sometimes 'onion skin' wrinkling. I recently used some thirty year old kit decals, thick by todays standards, but with Micro Sol they behaved beautifully, and no show-through.

Thanks Fellas...

Not Revells Decals...however have sent a note to the supplier with a couple of pics to see if he may help me out....

I really do want to add a thin black pinstripe to the M...

You could maybe trim the black strips Airfix use to seperate decal options to size, and apply those Wayne.

Beautiful work with the kit too, hope you can get the white decal problem sorted!

It sounds like it would be tough to cut out and decal the black stripes, but thats me. I'm sure for you it would be a 1, 2, 3. Hope you do get it solved though, regardless, beautiful work.

Thanks Guys!:D

Spoke to the supplier, disappointed about the white, hadn't actually used it himself and will make adjustments to future prints....has offered a sheet at cost price, which I have accepted, so it will be on the way to me real quick from the UK!:D

Some more progress....first stage Exhaust stains...lots of general pics show heavy staining, some show less, with differing colouring....I suspect my subject has had a fair bit of service and would have considerable staining....
