The trip comes to an end....20 minutes from boarding at Narita to go back to Oz, next stop Brisbane then on to Adelaide....

Starting simple...Day one
Akihabara and checking out "Electric Town" and 5 Hobby shops...plenty to see alright.
Lots of shops and food places in all directions.
The Akihabara station is a 3 level platform station with people goinfg everywhere!
The last shot is the radio Kaikan building which had all sorts of toy and hobbies stuff on all 8 floors, the 2 of interest to me were 6, yellow Submarine and Volkes on 8.

Really enjoying this vacation, the last time I was in Japan was in 1968 for R&R. Wayne you could not have had a better guide than Shinpachi what a class act, cheers. Great captures, I could tell a lot has changed since 68.

The Shinkansen was great, fast and smooth ride around 270kmh first one the Hikari from Tokyo to Kyoto and a switch to the Sakura for the trip to Hiroshima, approximately 5 hours. Couple of inside shots one for each trip and then the first shots for Hiroshima.
We arrived at our hotel not far from the Peace park, the small arrow shows the corner room we got.
