Good stuff Wayne, am I right in thinking that T shaped bridge was the aiming point for the Enola Gay ?

Yes Aioi bridge was the aiming point, the detonation occurred approximately 250m East South east of the T shape bridge at approx 600m in height, dropped from 31000 feet.

more Pics, now we move down one side of the main path,in the centre section of the Park

first pic the Cenotaph for the Bomb Victims, you can see the setting up in the background the Covers for the seated area for the August 6th memorial, we were there on the 23rd July, then looking back the way we cam, the Flame of Peace and same with the Childrens Monument in the background, then we move down to the front of the cenotaph monument showing the front, with the small tomb in the arch and a plaque describing the detail on the front and some info, there are 4 plaques laid out in different languages. then afinal shot through the arch to the flame of Peace and Bomb Dome in line in the background, this alignment is intentional.
The Red and Yellow marks indicationg where the photo's were taken.

Please rest in peace
We will not repeat the same mistake

Visitors will understand how Hiroshima citizens were treated by ABCC - Atomic Bomb Casualty Commission.
They were not given medical treatments to be observed as they were for months.

As well as my father, I hate to visit Hiroshima.

Thanks Guys.

As we move down the centre section another statue, The Prayer monument and the entrance to the first building of the Peace Museum, this building was closed off for renovations, but you need to go upstairs across the raised walkway to get to the other main Peace Museum Building.

Ah, it was rain in Hiroshima.
I remember I was anxious about you and Lynn looking up the sky.
