WAY to clean!

Gotta keep it clean!
I find everything, and I mean everything, finds its way onto any newly painted surface! I tidy up each day and always do a good vacuum, and allow time for settling, before I paint anything other than brush painted details. I even wipe down the surfaces and extractor hood in my battle against dust!

I recently dipped a canopy in Klear and put it in a sealed box to dry only to discover a fine hair attached to it when I took it out! where the hell did that come from?!

My space is not exactly an operating theatre.......but if I could........:)

Cheers
Steve

No real workbench for me. The garage is full of cars, go-fast parts, and restoration goodies. I have resumed making 1/285 scale aircraft masters for Raiden Miniatures/I-94 Enterprises in Michigan. The miniature aircraft start out as raw stock; plastic strips, sheet, and rod out from a tote in the garage. I have a little baking tray/cookie sheet that holds my ready-use tools (knives, micro drills, files) and assorted grit sand paper. I had a table that I left a mess upon in what is now the guest room. The table went to the den but the den is too remote. I've taken to move my mobile kit to keep wifey company as she knits for the grandbabies.

scale plan glued to plastic sheet, shown here with most of the excess cut or clipped away then filed to the line on the plan

lamination complete, it can get tricky cutting excess. I like to include the tail and such on the centerline for reference and build the canopy to width at this point

a good start on the fuselage shaping, F-105 has a Coke Bottle shape as viewed from above and oval cross section, not for the faint of heart

You do have to be single to have a magnificent bench like Donis'!

And I am Not single............ which explains the look of mine in our new digs.

Plenty of room for display of 48th scale and stuff in the Ikea Billy cases, center case is the big ones, and a place to put underway big ones, the Connie, C-47 and a P5-M.
My little electronic picture frame. I can search for referance photos from a memory stick and keep them open without having paper all over.
Notice on my "bench" the recycled Ferrero cases, chinese take-out, and soft butter containers, in the cabinet!!!! RECYCLE
The labled two dollar shop plastic lunch boxes and the odd ice cream container for spares, tools and supplies.

***Oh and my Stash and overflow of stuff in a closet.

And a visitor this morning. Didn't feed the bugger, don't want to encourage him cuz he'll sh!t everywhere!

Okay I can play this game too! We've a one car garage attached to the house that there's absolutely no room to put a car in ...... housing my work bench and tools and models awaiting construction and my eldest daughters art gear etc. Boxes and bins packed with kits currently stand at over ..... mumble mumble ..... somewhere around almost to many to build with what remains of my life .... all laid out in almost organised chaos LOL
