Thought i'd join the fun! Started this one a few days ago and have been taking my sweet time with her. Started with the interior.. shaved the pinholes off (except the chair areas), weathered the bulk heads, and scratch built two yellow cushions out of milliput.

I received some oil paints today for christmas and I used some of them on the interior. You know, little blobs of random colors then swooshing it all together with thinner for that subtle weathered look. Camera doesn't show it well, but I tried.

I was going to but for some reason Academy has put no information regarding the model. Ive spotted a '301' serial number and a arrow up, time to do some research.. then will edit first post.

Looking forward to watching this build Corey! Nice work so far. I like what you did with the cockpit colours. The results of your technique do seem to be visible in the photos and they look pretty good to me.

This sums up todays work.. The ball turrets gun is zinc chromate right now but im going to repaint the barrel its proper color after I spray the plane, thought itd be easier doing this as the barrel will more then likely get hit with the dark blue.

The fit was ok, needed a lot of tape and pressure and CA to hold it as one.. then used more CA and filled in the gaps and sanded it down. Nose is a bit runny after all the particles!
