still looking D ~

have a pic of an earlier B cockpit and also a D-5 NSGr type armor set up which the latter might be close.

Dan, just checked this all out and, once again, you're doing fantastic work! looking great!

Don'y know if this will help with painting and markings but found this in "Hitler's Stuka Squadrons" by John Ward....

Nice work Dan.
If the thinners is enamel thinners (White Spirit/Turps substitute) you won't have problems - it's what model paint companies sell at ridiculously inflated prices. If it's thinners for laquer, yes, it will effect dry paint - and, to an extent, the plastic possibly.
Did I send you any PDF books on the JU87? (memory fading with age - or maybe it's the 'T-Stoff'!!)
If not, let me know, I'll see if I have anything useful, and send a CD.

It says its mineral spirits that thin oil based paints... I did a test and painted over the white and no problems whatsoever... Definatly smells different tho....

Yea Terry, u sent me 2 pdf books, where most of the pics I posted up above are from.... Very useful pics, but Im lookin for more actual combat conditioned pics....

The one pdf book was chock full of walkaround pics thats EXTREMELY useful, but not from a weathering pov...

Thanks again for those man...

Couple there I dont have Jan, thanks Brother.....

Also, that last pic with the text u posted is a machine from 10./SG3, the same unit that Blumel flew with, and there is no white T-34 on the cowling.....

Thanks for the info concerning the T-34 stencil Erich, and thanks again for the pics Jan...

But did ya notice Dan, that the other pic did have the tank - on the opposite side from the usual. I think the emblem was on both sides of the machine, not just one as depitcted in one of the profiles posted. And my pic I believe has the tank further under the cockpit.

Got some work done this morning.... Got the yellow wingtip sprayed and did my panel lines on the bottom with pencil....

Also started spraying some Future on the bottom as well in prep for masking off for the upper camo spray work....
