Excellent stuff Paul!

Dan, thanks for the info on the pencil. I used that exact technique on my 262 GB but I think it came out a bit too stark so I though maybe you had a grey lead or something. Looks nice on your bird.

Nope, just regular old lead... I only did one pass with the chisel tho, maybe the difference???

Got loads done today.... Spayed this, sprayed that, taped this off etc etc.... The bottom is glossed, ready for decals and weathering... Gonna tape it off to spray the top camo first.... Had to extend the yellow wingtip as I had it way too small... CHECK UR REFERENCES!!!

Pretty happy with the way the RLM 71 is goin on, still have final coat on the green, and Ive already made up my batch, which has 5 drops of white mixed into it... Gonna hit the center of the panel with that to show fading....

Looks bl**dy fantastic my friend, outstanding!

Courland Pocket, eh? Blümel Co. must have been there to protect the retreat of the 11th SS Division Nordland among others....

It's looking good Dan, panel lines are great and it's also rewarding when all the parts start to come together, you feel as though you are getting somewhere at last. I was in the hot shed (about 45C) spraying the underside and cannon, sweat dripping off me, then had a go at doing the panel lines with pencil (first try). An you, you poor bug**r out in the cold, how do you keep your fingers from freezing up. Hope your decals arrive soon.

Yes Harrison, thats where my bench is, but I did get into some sh!t over the Hooters gimmick....

Thanks again for the comments guys... My fingers were cold Vic for sure, not as cold as my feet tho.... Was more concerned witht he quality of cold weather spraying than anything.... Cold Future sprays like sh!t...

I recieved the decals on Saturday, found them where my kids left em last night lol, thanks again man.... Will give em a tryout sometime this week.... The base color of the decals is very close to the RLM 71, they look great Vic....

Sorry Dan, took me a little bit but found a couple. First picture is source of book. Sorry guys lazy on typing. Rest is info for each picture.
