Er...I've gone all red and embarassed now! Thanks very much indeed guys! It's not a bad effort, if I say so myself, but could be better in parts. The thing is too unweildy to handle though, especially with my hands, and is more difficult than a 1/24th scale larger model, due to the shape and so many sticky-out bits!!

That is one fantastic build Terry, I didn't think that bf110 you built for the 1st GB could be beaten, I was wrong!

You're all very kind, and thanks very much indeed. I'm busy doing the base, a 1/32nd scale figure conversion (from an old Airfix 'Multi Pose' German Infantry figure) and the bits and pieces, so the next pics will probably be of the completed model. Although there'll maybe be a couple of shots of the final additions first....

Nearly finished!
The last few bits are being fitted, and the next stage is to place the model on its base, before fitting the delicate A.I. (Radar) antennae and the radio and I.F.F. antenna wires. Apart from that, the tail lamps have to be made and fitted, and the cockpit canopy fixed in the open position, then it's just the odd bit of touching up to finish off.
As soon as the accessories for the base are finished, I'll post more pics; meanwhile, here's how the model looks to date.
PICS 1 and 2. The Observer's seat is in position, along with the open hatch cover. Just visible is the flare port, on the starboard side aft of the rear of the hatch.
PIC 3. The Observer' entry hatch in the belly - a real b*tch to fit ! Beyond it is the trailing aerial fairlead tube.
PIC 4. The wing-tip navigation lamps are fitted and coloured, and the radar elevation antennae fitted on the upper and lower starboard wing. Both wings have yet to have the azimuth aerials fitted, and the nose the transmitter 'arrowhead' aerial.
PIC 5. The engines looking more complete with their large props. Some retouching around the cowlings has yet to be done.
PIC 6. The canopy locking bar and (red) handle are in place, the latter yet to receive a clear gloss coat. The canopy will be fitted last, in the open position.
So, the next pics should be of the finished model and the cameo diorama. Thanks again for all your kind comments and attention.
