Here's the (very late) balance of the pics I promised...others have posted better since, but they may sstill be of use. First ones courtesy Squadron, the last photocopied from a book, title of which long forgotten.

Great build so far Vic! As for your lighting, a simple arrangement of a couple of small LED lights should do the trick. You could be a sneaky bugger and have one of the engines removable to place the battery behind for connecting the wires when you want to light her up...

Evan these are great and have helped me finally decide on the size of the beaching dolly wheels. I was so excited when I saw them and have now started making the wheels and struts.

It was with trepidation that I ventured out into the shed and started spraying today, it was toasting hot outside (I just want to make all you folks up north jealous) and started the spray very early and I was to say the least, worried that things would not go well and that all my weeks of hard work would be bu@@ered up. I was spraying to almost noon with many mixes of paint.

Anyway folks, here are the results and as you will see, these were taken indoors, light and shading have a big effect on the chromate green I was trying to achieve.
