His replies were all automatic emails. Never heard directly from him, and the latest have gone unanswered all together, so my reason for going ahead with my Frankenstein pods. Which I am happy with.
But, I was having trouble flattening the surface of the support to the fuselage, mainly because the pins were in the way. So the logical solution was to get rid of the bl00dy pins. Doing this I can now get the struts to fit snug!
So what I have done is Removed the pins from the pod and put the pins in the fuselage. But I had to enlarge the holes in the fusey, insert Styrene Tube sections and then drill them out so pins would fit In. I then drilled tiny holes thru the center of the pins on the pods to accurately locate them, then shave the pins off the pods and drill holes to match the new pin size.
Took me longer to explain in words, than it did to Do it. See below.

Smashed taters, skins and a few chunky bits is my preference please.
Well, they bl00dy well are attached.But when I looked at them from the underside, crap, one was a bit skewif. So I will have to shim it. You can see a strip of styrene at the rear of one. And the corrected view from above. But all in all they are on and square now.
I don't recall Vic having this much trouble, or did he just not tell us????

Incredible and impeccable work Bill, take a bow me old mate, you've earned it. And yes, I just took the locating pins right off and didn't say a dicky. I was probably so happy to get it fixed, I just go struck dumb!!
