Thanks for the pics Maciej!

Here's a pic of the decal sheet I'll be using. Can't find a better pic online and I don't have the sheet yet. You can see the spinner hasn't got the spiral.

Ha!...I was looking at those exact same pics today and thought I would post them up for ya muller....but not necessary now!:D

My pleasure:)

Wayne, do you know any other photos of this plane?
I have the same decal sheet as muller and I'm curious why they placed the clown's face nose art, Aeromaster did it too in 72028 sheet.

5 pages on this thread now and still White 5 isn't started!

Just did some further investigation....AND...yes there is a Clown's head insignia reference for Hubl's aircraft, just not sure if it is the SAME aircraft?!

more to follow!:D

Okay, the personal 'clown' emblem shown below was applied to Hubl's Fw190(s)?

The pic clearly shows the JG 2 style black and white pattern painted to the rear of the exhaust area which is clear on the A-6 crash photo, so it is probable that this is the same aircraft. The angle of the light in the photo prevents us from seeing the emblem.....

Now it's also possible that it is a different 190, an image showing his rudder with 3 victories, the third a P-51,7th July and W.Nr. 550490 with 4 victories, B-17, 19th Aug ARE 2 different aircraft! You can just see the flat bottom of the last digit of the W.Nr on the 3 Vic aircraft it is not the "0" of 550490.
The first aircraft is more likely an A-5 even an A-4 as both show on loss lists up to and beyond the July 3rd victory, whereas we know 550490 is an A-6.

Cheers Wayne! Great pics, even one of Hubl himself. I've been searching on the net and can't find much info about him. Wonder did he ever fly again after his crash?

Cool Wayne!

Another change of plan with this build! The fujimi kit is crap! No interior detail, and it has to be built closed canopy, outside looks ok though.

So, its back to the Hasegawa kit, i have my eye on a couple on Fleabay.

I'm going to do a practice run with a Fujimi kit, 'Red 23' II./JG 1. It'd qualify for the GB but I wont be entering it.

I've made more u-turns on this build than the Irish govt did with their budget!!

Got this pic from wings palette, what colours is she painted with?? Looks green not grey.

Cheers Wayne, no mention of White 5... :|

You're right Wojtek, its probably fantasy, prop and spinner looks red/brown japanese primer! The box art shows Red 23 painted with greys. I'll be going with the box I think.

Yep... The Fw 190 was of RLM74/75/76.
