Lovely Dan :thumbleft:

When I spray Klear/Future i don't thin it, but I add a couple of drops of dish washing detergent into it, I read it on a tips page somewhere. Don't know if it actually does anything but I get good results.

OK, next round of pics.... I touched up here and there and made some corrections to match up against the profiles....

Im extremely happy with the results I got... Maybe one or 2 more quick puffs of RLM83 and she'll be ready for Future.....

If my 1st attempt at mottling turns out half as good as that I'll be happy! Lovely shading too! :thumbleft:

Thanks gents, I really appreciate it....

Been puttin the Future on the top of the wings and the elevators for now, gotta wait for the paint to dry on the fuselage overnight before spraying that.... Im very happy with the results, thanks again for all the pointers fellas...

Canopy is gloss sprayed as well.... After all is said and done, I leave the canopy still masked and dull coat it, correct???

That's right Dan, leave the canopy masked, but remember, Luftwaffe paint finishes were normally semi-matt, with a slight sheen. By this stage of the war, there didn't appear to be as much sheen, probably poorer quality paints, or hurried application, so get your final dull coat just on being matt, towards semi-matt.

Ah! That's why! Sorry, didn't realise you were doing it in the cold. I had the same problem, it got too late to spray, and the room where I would have done it was literally b****y freezing!
Still, at least I'll have better light during the day tomorrow, if I can get it done in daylight that is, when it should hopefully be a bit warmer, maybe even 2 degrees, rather than minus 6!
Anyway, I'm off to bed.
